The Nicosia Integrated Mobility Master Plan was completed in August 2010 and is the "precursor" of the Nicosia SUMP. Many of the projects and actions proposed by NIMMP to strengthen sustainable mobility, such as the multi-centre public transport system, the construction of a bicycle infrastructure connecting the Universities of Nicosia with the city center and the monorailing of Makariou Avenue III and Kallipoleos street have been implemented, while in the current phase it is being updated through the preparation of the Nicosia SUMP.
