In order to promote the gradual implementation of the TRAM in accordance with the guidelines of the European Investment Bank and JASPERS, it is advisable to start by implementing the bus lanes and developing the service. The planning and tender documents will be prepared within the framework of the Nicosia SUMP which was signed on 19 November 2021. They will be followed by a call for tenders and implementation between 2023 and 2026.
